Highest victory margin in Haryana was recorded by Mamman Khan of the Indian National Congress (INC), who defeated Naseem Ahmed of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) by 98,441 votes (54.34%) in the Ferozepur Jhirka constituency.
Highest victory margin in Jammu & Kashmir was recorded by Devender Singh Rana of BJP, who defeated Joginder Singh of the National Conference by 30,472 votes (41.13%) in Nagrota.
Lowest victory margin in Haryana was recorded by Devender Chatar Bhuj Attri of BJP, who defeated Brijendra Singh of INC by 32 votes (0.02%) in Uchana Kalan.
Lowest victory margin in Jammu & Kashmir was registered by Rafiq Ahmad Naik of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who defeated Surinder Singh of INC by 460 votes (1.06%) in Tral.
Thirty-five of the 90 winning candidates (39%) in Haryana got more than 50% of the votes polled.
Thirty-eight of the 90 winning candidates (42%) in Jammu & Kashmir got more than 50% of the votes polled.
Winner with the lowest vote share in Haryana was Devender Chatar Bhuj Attri of BJP in Uchana Kalan (29.5%).
Winner with the lowest vote share in Jammu & Kashmir was Shabir Ahmad Kullay, an Independent candidate in Shopian (23.74%).
About 81 per cent (80.81 per cent) or 828 of the 1,031 contestants in the 2024 Haryana Assembly election lost their deposits.
About 78 per cent or 681 of the 873 contestants in the 2024 Jammu & Kashmir elections lost their deposits.
