Former US Secretary of State John Kerry on Friday arrived in Mumbai ahead of the grand wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant.

The upcoming Anant-Radhika wedding promises to be a grand celebration of Indian heritage encompassing culture, spirituality, folk art, craftsmanship, music, and cuisine.

Among other guests who have arrived in the financial capital are West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, former Bihar CM Lalu Prasad Yadav, US Envoy to India Eric Garcetti and British High Commissioner to India Lindy Cameron.

The primary wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant are set to commence on July 12, beginning with the auspicious Shubh Vivah ceremony. July 13 will feature the Shubh Aashirwad celebrations with an Indian formal dress code. Finally, July 14 will mark the Mangal Utsav, the wedding reception, where guests are encouraged to dress in Indian chic attire.

The wedding décor theme, titled “An Ode to Varanasi,” pays homage to this ancient city renowned for its traditions, spirituality, arts, and crafts, and exquisite Banarasi cuisine. The wedding venue at Jio World Centre will be transformed into a vibrant rendition of Varanasi’s streets, offering guests an immersive experience to engage with the city’s rich traditions, flavors, and spiritual essence.

Carefully curated stalls and specialized guest services will ensure attendees not only enjoy the event but also depart with enduring memories of their journey through Varanasi’s ghats. Guests can indulge in Banarasi delicacies such as chaat, mithai, lassi, chai, khari, paan, and mukhwas.
