Anil Ambani, Reliance Group chairman, and his wife Tina Ambani offered prayers at Bodh Gaya in Bihar. The duo visited Lord Buddha in the sanctum sanctorum of the Mahabodhi Temple and offered special prayers. The couple began their day with prayers at the Vishnupad Temple and then visited Mangala Gauri and Mahabodhi Temple in Bodh Gaya.

The two also performed Pind Daan for his ancestors. The rituals were conducted at the Vishnupad Temple under the guidance of Shambhulal Vithal, chairman of the temple’s managing committee. The district administration of Gaya made security arrangements for the visit of the Ambani family. The visit by the Reliance group chairman to Bihar comes close after the announcement to invest Rs 25000 crore in renewable energy in Andhra Pradesh.

The Mahabodhi Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, holds significant importance for followers of Buddhism. According to the Bihar Tourism website, the temple is an ancient Buddhist structure in Bodh Gaya, marking the location where the Buddha is believed to have attained enlightenment.
