The survey was conducted in 10 Indian languages.The survey found that 44 per cent women believe that public transportation is women-friendly and 27 per cent women felt that public transportation is unsafe for women.In addition to women’s perception of public transport, the survey also looked at overall women safety, women’s workplace safety, safety at educational institutions, and the safest cities for women. The survey found that 87 per cent women are confident in workplace safety measures, 87 per cent women feel safe in their educational institutions, and women rated Ahmedabad, Indore, and Mumbai as the safest cities.More from India
