Mahayuti, the alliance made of BJP, Shiv Sena (Shinde) and NCP (AP), has won 235 out of 288 Assembly seats in Maharashtra while MVA could only win 49 seats.

BJP has always contested elections in Maharashtra as part of an alliance. Along its way, the party has gained some or lost some. However, the 2024 elections proved to be the most valuable for the party.
