https://kumbh.gov.in, has emerged as a key source of information, as well as a major point of attraction for people worldwide, drawing more than 3.3 million visitors from 183 countries.

As of January 4, the website data reveals that more than 3.3 million people from across continents, including Europe, America, and Africa, have visited the portal for details about the Mahakumbh, highlighting the event’s global reach and appeal, the Uttar Pradesh government said in a statement.

A representative from the technical team overseeing the website confirmed that, as of January 4, the official Mahakumbh 2025 portal has attracted a total of 33,05,667 visitors. These users come from 183 countries and include visits from 6,206 cities across the globe, the statement added.

Visitors are not only browsing the website but also dedicating significant time to explore it.

The UP government is showcasing the Mahakumbh 2025 as ‘Digital Mahakumbh’ by creating several online platforms to help the devotees. One of the key initiatives is the official Mahakumbh website, which was launched by state’s Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Prayagraj on October 6, 2024

The website act as a comprehensive guide, providing key detailed information about the Mahakumbh 2025 event and helping devotees easily learn about its traditions, spiritual importance, and research related to it. It also includes details about the main attractions, important bathing festivals, and tips on what to do and avoid during the event.

Moreover, the website offers information on travel and accommodation, a media gallery, and updates about what’s new in the holy mega event of Mahakumbh 2025.
