According to sources, the planned roadshow led by Modi will symbolise the nation’s rich cultural tapestry, with individuals from southern states, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Bengal, and local residents of Varanasi expected to adorn his path with flower petals.
AAP’s renewed campaign
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) revealed its strategy for the fourth phase of its Lok Sabha campaign. They declared their intention to focus on four distinct segments of society to raise awareness about the public service initiatives they have undertaken over the past decade.
After his release from jail, AAP convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, joined by his Punjab counterpart Bhagwant Mann, conducted his first roadshow for the Lok Sabha election campaign in the South Delhi constituency last Saturday.
India-France military exercise begins
India and France are gearing up for the 7th edition of the Joint Military Exercise ‘Shakti’, scheduled to take place from May 13 to May 26 in the Umroi region of Meghalaya. The primary objective of the exercise is to bolster joint military capabilities for Multi-Domain Operations within a Sub Conventional framework. Additionally, it aims to foster interoperability and strengthen the camaraderie between the armed forces of both countries.
