Many netizens blamed the incumbent Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) poor performance on internal conflict while others lauded BJP’s campaign style.
According to trends and results by 1 pm IST, the BJP was on its way to win over 45 seats as AAP languished below 25 in the 70-seat assembly.

AAP’s own Member of Parliament Swati Maliwal took a dig at the party’s apparent loss in the elections by posting an image of Draupadi’s disrobing from the Mahabharata — in subtle reference to betrayal and injustice.
