In a tragic accident, an Indian Coast Guard Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH) Dhruv crashed on Sunday in Porbandar, Gujarat, during a routine training sortie, reports news agency ANI.
ALH Dhruv crashed in an open field and was up in flames. The reason behind this crash is still unknown and an inquiry has been launched.
“An Indian Coast Guard ALH Dhruv crashed today in Porbandar, Gujarat during a routine training sortie,” Indian Coast Guard Officials told news agency ANI.
“As per inputs, there were three personnel including two pilots in the chopper. All three have lost their lives in the incident,” the official said.
