Further decisions will be made following a detailed inspection.Deputy Chief Minister Agnihotri stated that there is no confirmed information about a technical defect, as only the airport authority can verify the cause. However, it has been established that the aircraft missed the designated touchdown zone.Advertisement“There was no prior warning or announcement. We experienced a strong jolt upon landing. Around 32 to 34 passengers were on board, and the aircraft touched down at approximately 8:20 AM. The DGP and I were also present. After the aircraft came to a halt, we, along with other passengers, remained on board for about 25 minutes,” Agnihotri was quoted as saying by News18.Following the incident, the flight to Dharamshala was cancelled. Several legislators who were scheduled to arrive from Dharamshala will now be travelling by road.The incident has raised concerns reminiscent of the 2010 Air India Express crash in Mangalore, where overshooting the tabletop runway led to disaster.This is a developing story.More from India
