IAS Tina Dabi, her sister IAS Ria Dabi and IAS Athar Aamir are often in the news due to various reasons. The trio are prominent IAS officers known for their exemplary achievements. Now, in the New Year 2025, they have got a piece of good news. The IAS officers have been granted promotions along with other IAS, IPS, and IFS officers.
The Rajasthan government has granted promotions to 27 IAS officers, 45 IPS officers, and 29 IFS officers. The State Department of Personnel has issued separate orders for these promotions. Following the promotions, these officers will continue to hold their current positions. The orders will come into effect from today, January 1, 2025.
According to a notification, IAS Tina Dabi (2016), IAS Athar Amir Ul Shafi Khan(proforma promotion), IAS Artika Shukla (2016) and others have been promoted from the Senior Pay Scale to the Junior Administrative Pay Scale (Level 12 in Pay Scale) of the Indian Administrative Service. In 2015, IAS Tina topped the UPSC Civil Services Examination with All India Rank (AIR) 1, and IAS Athar was the second topper in the same year. Currently, IAS Tina is posted as Barmer District Collector, while IAS Athar is District Magistrate and District Development Commissioner, Kulgam (J-K).
Ria Dabi has been fortunate in terms of promotions compared to her sister Tina. While Tina had to wait almost 9-10 years for her promotion, Ria, a 2021 batch IAS officer, received hers in 2024. She has been promoted from the Junior Pay Scale to the Senior Pay Scale (Level 11 in Pay Matrix) of the Indian Administrative Service.
