Maharashtra election result 2024 early trends show BJP-led Mahayuti heading to a thumping victory with the alliance expected to win over 200 of 288-seat Assembly.

Maharashtra elections as well as its
results are considered crucial as the last few polls in the state have experienced an unprecedented churning that has seen three governments and the emergence of two new – Shiv Sena (Shinde) and NCP (Ajit Pawar).

With the early trends, the election results of
Maharashtra Assembly is expected to surpass the prediction made in several exit polls which estimated 144 top 152 seats for the Mahayuti, which has been facing a contest against
Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA).

Amid this, the infamous Phalodi Satta Bazar, based in Rajasthan, which is known for its election predictions, has predicted the triumph of Mahayuti and the return of the alliance to power.

Phalodi Satta Bazar is considered as one of among the biggest betting centres in India and it deals in different kinds of betting with elections being its mainstay. It has drawing bets worth several hundreds of crores.

Interestingly, Phalodi Satta Bazar also draws a remarkable traction for placing bets on rains and cricket.

According to a report by ToI, Phalodi Satta Bazar opens every day around 11 am with the rates decided an hour prior on a daily basis.

The market operates till around 5 pm. Bets are placed by people either through the phone or physically. The winners receive their bounty through some phone wallets, the report said.

Betting activities began prominently in Rajasthan Phalodi Satta Bazar after India achieved Independence. Earlier, the market bet on the cotton rates.

In this market, there are punters or bookies, people placing the bets and around two-dozen-odd people, who work here and carry out the entire operation.

Apart from bookies, this bazaar also has its own sources of political information with people placed across major political centres.

The rates are decided on the basis of the inputs received from various sources.
