Veteran BJP leader and former deputy prime minister LK Advani was on Tuesday admitted to Apollo Hospital in Delhi and his condition is said to be stable.
“Veteran BJP leader LK Advani was admitted to the Neurology department today morning at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital. He is stable and under observation, said Apollo Hospital in a statement.
The statement added that the veteran leader is admitted under Dr Vinit Suri for routine follow-up check-up.
“He is fine and likely to be discharged soon,” said Dr Suri.
The 96-year-old, was also admitted at the same facility in the first week of July and was discharged after being kept under observation for a couple of days.
He was admitted under Dr Vinit Suri, senior consultant, neurology department.
Prior to that he had been admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and was discharged following a night-long stay there.
