A tragic road accident in Karnataka’s Haveri district claimed the lives of 13 people early Friday morning, as reported by The Hindu. The incident occurred on the Pune–Bengaluru national highway and involved two children among the deceased.
At around 4 AM near Gundenahalli Cross, a speeding mini bus crashed into a stationary truck, resulting in a horrific collision. The police have arrived at the scene, and the bodies remain trapped inside the vehicle.
The victims, all from a single family, were on a pilgrimage trip. Four others sustained injuries and were taken to a nearby hospital. More details are awaited.
