Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief N Chandrababu Naidu will take oath as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh on June 12.

The TDP won the Andhra Pradesh assembly elections which were held simultaneously with the Lok Sabha elections. The party contested the polls in an alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Jana Sena Party (JSP).

Naidu’s oath-taking ceremony will be held at 11:27 am on June 12 near the Kesarapalli IT Park in Krishna District, said the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) in a post on X (formerly Twitter).

In the Andhra Pradesh assembly elections, the TDP defeated the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) of Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Of the 175 assembly seats, the TTDP won 135 seats, the JSP 21, the YSRCP 11, and the BJP eight.
